Our Come To Your Senses retreat dives deep into the realm of sensory experience, making explorations that are playful and fun. But what you'll practice is not just a game – you'll hone your personal toolbox of skills for navigating, surviving, and appreciating everything that daily life brings. And rather than learning another new habit, you'll find that you just need to tune in and reconnect with abilities you already have.
Although the name suggests this workshop is all about sensory experience, it's more than that. Within a safe and encouraging space, you'll:
make discoveries about your own mind
try fun, purposeful experiments balanced with periods of intentional silence
sample a "buffet" of simple grounding practices to create a personal toolkit to take home and use in your everyday life
shake loose from unhelpful patterns
gain compassion for yourself and others
find a clear, steady, inquisitive view of the world that lasts long after the workshop ends
re-align with yourself to make authentic life choices
By engaging with the physical senses with an open mind, you can come home to an empowering truth: rather than needing to establish another new habit, you only need to recognize an innate ability you already have.
Cost includes instruction, all meals (Friday dinner through Monday breakfast), and accommodations.
